Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Joins Edmonton's Twenty Point Club Saturday

Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins notched his 20th point of the season on Saturday night. It was just Nugent-Hopkins' second goal of the season to go with 18 assists in 20 games played. The center had been averaging nearly 2.4 shots per game which is pretty close to what his average has been the past few seasons (2.5). The Oiler became the third Edmonton player to break the 20 point plateau this early since the 1988-89 season. Given how prolific the Edmonton offense has been, Nugent-Hopkins could easily break 60 assists this season or more.
