Ryan McMahon Smacks Two Homers In Losing Effort

Colorado Rockies first baseman Ryan McMahon was 2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBI, and two walks during Thursday's 10-8 loss to the Houston Astros. While McMahon's .225 average fails to stand out, he has started to hit the ball a lot harder over the past week. McMahon now has eight RBI to go along with a .407 OBP and .714 SLG across his last seven games. The talent has always been there for the 25-year-old, but the consistency has eluded him. He is worthy of a pickup to round out a roster in standard leagues, although his next seven games are outside of the friendly confines of Coors Field.
