Ryan McMahon Ready If He Can Find Playing Time
7 years agoRyan McMahon is the next in Colorado’s line of solid prospects. With experience at every infield position, McMahon will most likely serve as the fifth infielder for the big club in 2018. Most of his time will likely come at first base as he backs up Ian Desmond/platoons with Raimel Tapia, but he’ll likely build up a decent number of at-bats by covering off days for everyone around the diamond. McMahon combined for 20 homers across two levels last year, and if he can get the playing, owners should expect similar power numbers at the major league level. Dynasty owners should definitely be in on McMahon at this point, and the only real limit on him for now is regular playing time. If someone goes down and McMahon gets the gig, he should be a strong flier across all formats.
