Ryan Fitzpatrick 2020 Outlook: Grooming Tua
5 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick will begin another season with the team in 2020. While the journeyman signal-caller split time in 2019 with the underachieving Josh Rosen, he still was relatively productive by finishing the year with 3.529 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 13 picks while also rushing for 243 yards and four scores. Fitzpatrick will likely begin the season as the No. 1 option on the team's depth chart, but the arrival of former Alabama star Tua Tagovailoa will undoubtedly shorten his life expectancy as a starter. Initially, he is a suitable fantasy bye-week backup in deeper leagues--at best--and will only hold some value as long as he retains his spot over Tagovailoa. However, as soon as he drops to No. 2, he isn't worth a roster spot across the board.
