Russell Wilson Prefers Up-Tempo Offense
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson expressed his desire for the team's offense to pick up the pace moving forward. "I mean we’ve always been really good at two-minute [offense]," Wilson said. "We’ve always been really good in those end of the half, those not always hurry-up situations, but those up-tempo situations [and] moments. And guys just make plays in those moments. I think the freedom of just going after it and just scoring as many points, you know?" Seattle's current offense still prefers to run the football as much as they can, but Wilson has remained a strong QB1 for fantasy owners despite their run-first approach. If the Seahawks speed up the tempo of their offense and let Wilson call the shots more often, he could be even more dynamic than he already is.
