Ross Chastain will start eighth in this week's USA Today 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway after qualifying was canceled due to weather. This is the first time in New Hampshire, and the seventh time this year, that Chastain will start a race from the Top 10. In five starts at the site, Chastain has two top-10 finishes with a best finish of eighth. The No. 1 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet driver, however, did pick up positive Place Differential in all five of his starts at NHMS. Through 17 races so far this season, Chastain has 14 top-15 finishes with six inside the Top 10. In practice, before it was called due to rain, Chastain ranked ninth in overall lap averages and eighth in five consecutive lap averages. Based on his equipment, practice speeds, and overall performance during the 2024 season so far, Chastain is expected to place in the Top 10, making him best-suited for DFS tournament lineups. --Sean Engel - RotoBaller
