Ronny Mauricio Goes Deep in Second Straight Contest
Ronny Mauricio has continued to swing a hot bat at Triple-A and is nearing a return to the major leagues. On Wednesday, the No. 9-ranked prospect in the system went deep in his second straight contest. He also posted his third-straight multi-hit game at Triple-A Syracuse. The 24-year-old missed the entire 2024 campaign and the opening month of the 2025 season recovering from a torn ACL. However, the infielder appears to have returned to form. He made his MLB debut late in the 2023 campaign and posted a .248/.296/.347 with two home runs and seven stolen bases. While the Mets' infield is quite crowded at the moment, if Mauricio continues to hit, he will earn a promotion. Fantasy managers in NL-only formats should continue to monitor his production at Triple-A, as he may be just weeks away from his return to Queens.
