5 months agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II has been rumored to be the team’s No. 1 option, however, head coach Bruce Arians indicated that Peyton Barber will remain the starter, at least for now. Jones outperformed the latter in Week 1 against the 49ers, racking up 13 carries for 75 yards while Barber, who saw fewer snaps than running back Dare Ogunbowale, ran for just 33 yards on eight attempts. Arians has been impressed by the 22-year-old, and it wouldn’t be unreasonable for him to be heavily involved against Carolina in Week 2. If you are in need of a back, the upside is there for Jones on Thursday night.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
