Rome Odunze Getting MRI On Monday
4 weeks agoChicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said that rookie first-round wide receiver Rome Odunze (knee) is getting an MRI exam on his knee on Monday, and the team will let us know the results on Wednesday. Meanwhile, there are no concerns with receivers DJ Moore or Keenan Allen. Odunze didn't get off to a great start in his NFL debut in Sunday's Week 1 win over the visiting Tennessee Titans at Soldier Field, catching just one of his four targets for 11 yards, and now the 22-year-old is questionable heading into Week 2 against the Houston Texans this weekend. We'll know more on Odunze's status on Wednesday, but if he's forced to miss any time, Tyler Scott and DeAndre Carter would be competing for the No. 3 receiver role in Chicago behind Moore and Allen. Check back for more information on Odunze's injury on Wednesday and to see whether he returns to the practice field.
