Robinson Cano Likely Out Monday

After getting hit in the hand and subsequently exiting Sunday's game against the Cardinals, New York Mets infielder Robinson Cano went for x-rays, which came back negative. Still, the 36-year-old was scheduled for more tests on Monday and his status for the club's game against the Phillies was unclear. According to the club, there is uncertainty over Cano's ability to play Monday which, coped with bad weather and possible rainout, has resulted in a delay over the release of the starting lineup. With the veteran likely out, the returning Todd Frazier may see a start.
