Rick Porcello Allows Four Runs In Win
5 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Rick Porcello allowed four runs over six innings of work, while striking out just two and walking none in Monday's 10-8 win over the Blue Jays. The 30-year-old should be thankful the lineup decided to show up early, as he surrendered all four runs in the first three innings. Porcello has been on a downward trend over his last four starts. He's allowed at least four runs and five hits in each start, while only carrying a 9/6 K/BB over the same stretch. Luckily for the righty, things get easier this Saturday when he'll face off with the Orioles. However, his season to this point hasn't granted him much trust from fantasy owners, therefore he shouldn't be started on the road.
