Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Rasmus Sandin left Tuesday's 4-1 win over Tampa Bay with a neck injury. He managed to pick up a power-play assist in 8:30 of action before leaving. Head coach Sheldon Keefe said postgame that Sandin was pulled from the game for precautionary reasons, which is positive, but it's not known if the Swedish blue-liner will be ready for Thursday's encounter with Philadelphia. With the defense suffering a number of injuries, Sandin has played a big part for the Maple Leafs this season, registering 14 points in 33 games with 33 shots, 74 hits and 38 blocks.--Taavi Pailk
