Rashid Shaheed Posts 36 Yards, Leads New Orleans Wide Receivers
12 months agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed secured three of his four targets for 36 yards in the team's 24-6 win over the New York Giants. His totals led wideouts in New Orleans but trailed both Alvin Kamara and Juwan Johnson. Derek Carr spread the football around evenly with top wideouts Chris Olave (ankle) and Michael Thomas (knee, injured reserve) out of the lineup. The Saints also didn't have to throw a lot to walk away with a victory. If Olave isn't able to return to the lineup in a short week, Shaheed will again operate as the de-facto WR1 against the Rams.
