5 years agoSeattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer was gushing with praise for running back Rashaad Penny after camp opened up this week. Schottenheimer told reporters that Penny especially had a good day on Friday, and as he put it, "He's learning how to practice, I think I talked a little bit in the spring about him maturing, he’s doing that." He also noted that Penny was even breathing hard after a couple of big plays later in the day, showing him that Penny was finishing every run. High praise for such a young player in just the first couple days of training camp. How the pecking order will play out in the backfield remains to be seen, but Penny is expected to be in the mix.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
