Rashaad Penny Injures Hamstring In Week 11 Loss
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that running back Rashaad Penny (hamstring) was dealing with a hamstring issue in the Week 11 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Yet another injury for the oft-injured former first-rounder. Penny was supposed to be more involved in the offense on Sunday, but he ended up playing only 16.3% of the offensive snaps while Alex Collins and DeeJay Dallas both played 36.7% of the snaps in the 23-13 loss. Penny handled just two carries for 19 yards and wasn't targeted in the passing game. The 25-year-old could eventually have a bigger role down the stretch now that Chris Carson (neck) is out for the year, but fantasy managers just have never been able to rely on Penny to stay on the field for long stretches of time. For now, expect Collins and Dallas and/or Travis Homer to continue splitting carries in an offense that has really struggled since quarterback Russell Wilson returned from his finger injury.
