Rangers Among Teams Interested In Nolan Arenado
5 years agoThe Texas Rangers are among the teams talking to the Colorado Rockies about a potential trade for third baseman Nolan Arenado. The Braves, Nationals, Cardinals and Dodgers are other teams that could potentially attempt to trade for the All-Star third baseman. While nothing is imminent, the Rockies are at least gauging interest around the league and assessing Arenado's trade value. It might be difficult, though, as Arenado has a full no-trade clause to go with his eight-year, $260 million contract. The 28-year-old hit .315/.379/.583 with 41 home runs, 102 runs, 118 RBI and three steals in 588 at-bats last year. He's as good as they get, but a move away from Coors Field wouldn't be as ideal for his overall numbers.
