Randall Cobb To Be Out Awhile
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that wide receiver Randall Cobb (core) "is going to be out for awhile." "He had a pretty significant injury. That's unfortunate because he's done such an amazing job when given the opportunity," LaFleur said. It makes sense why Cobb wasn't practicing on Wednesday despite coming off the bye week. The 31-year-old will likely miss the Sunday night game against the Chicago Bears and could be fighting an uphill battle to return in Week 15 as well. A multi-game absence for Cobb would mean more targets and playing time for both Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Allen Lazard behind No. 1 receiver Davante Adams. Valdes-Scantling has more big-play ability and fantasy upside, putting him in the WR3/flex mix this weekend.
