Raisel Iglesias Suspended Two Games

Los Angeles Angels closer Raisel Iglesias was suspended for two games for his actions during a bench-clearing brawl with the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. Iglesias was not in the game at the time and entered the fracas from the bullpen after teammate Andrew Wantz hit Jesse Winker on the hip. The 32-year-old closer seems to have appealed the suspension, so he will presumably be out there for potential save opportunities as the Angels open up a home series against the Chicago White Sox on Monday. Setup man Ryan Tepera also received a three-game suspension, meaning it could be some combination of lefty Aaron Loup and/or right-hander Archie Bradley closing out games when the Iglesias and Tepera suspensions are eventually served.
