Preston Williams Says He'll Be Ready For Next Season
5 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Preston Williams (knee), who is coming off a torn ACL last year, said he will be ready for the start of the regular season this fall. Williams' emergence in his rookie season and the breakout year for Devante Parker has Miami suddenly stacked at receiver. They feel they don't need to make a significant addition to the group in the offseason with Parker, Williams, Allen Hurns, Jakeem Grant, Albert Wilson and Isaiah Ford in the fold. In eight games played last year, the 22-year-old Williams had 32 catches for 428 yards and three touchdowns. He averaged 13.4 yards a catch and is a big-bodied receiver that could do damage in the red zone. He'll be a popular breakout candidate if he proves he's healthy in training camp.
