Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid was injured early in the second period of Saturday's season finale against the Calgary Flames and had to be helped off of the ice, but was able to walk into interviews on Sunday without crutches. The injury came on a play where McDavid was driving to the net and was tripped up by Mark Giordano, resulting in McDavid going knee-first into the goal post. An MRI is reportedly scheduled for later Sunday to evaluate his left knee, but for now, the injury does not seem severe enough to warrant significant concern, especially with a long offseason ahead for Edmonton. Barring some truly shocking results from the MRI, McDavid will retain his spot atop fantasy drafts next fall.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
