P.J. Washington Likely to Play Tuesday Against Hornets
Dallas Mavericks forward/center P.J. Washington (ankle) was upgraded from questionable to probable on Tuesday afternoon and will likely return for this matchup against his former team. He has missed the last three games, and his return will be important for the Mavericks, who will likely be without Cooper Flagg (foot, doubtful), Naji Marshall (finger, out), Marvin Bagley III (neck, out), and Klay Thompson (adductor, doubtful). Washington could be one of the team's primary options on offense, along with Max Christie, but Washington may need to ease back in after missing three games with the injury. He does have a very high ceiling in the potential revenge game, though, and his team will need him to carry as much work as possible.
