Phillies Reinstate Alec Bohm From Injured List
2 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies reinstated infielder Alec Bohm (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list on Sunday and optioned infielder Drew Ellis to Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move. After recovering from his left-hamstring strain, Bohm is back at third base and is hitting fifth in the batting order on Sunday against Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Caleb Ferguson. The 26-year-old missed just over 10 days with a hamstring strain, but he's back in there and should continue to see playing time at both third and first base for the Phillies. Before his injury, Bohm was hitting .265 (52-for-196) with nine doubles, six home runs, 37 RBI, two steals and 23 runs scored in 215 plate appearances and 53 games. Get him back into your lineups on Sunday.
