Philip Rivers May Have A Better O-Line
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has looked like a stud so far in training camp, as expected, but the real question about his performance doesn't lie with him. It lies with his offensive line. Ranked 29th by Pro Football Focus over the offseason, the LA offensive line could be a serious weak spot in an otherwise dominant offensive machine. However, 2017 second-round pick Forrest Lamp is finally healthy and seems to be ready to go. After losing 2017 to a knee injury and struggling to return from it in 2018, Lamp is finally healthy and ready to go in 2019. If he can take over one of the guard spots from Dan Feeney or Michael Schofield II, which he is expected to do, it could allow Rivers to somehow put up an even better season than last year.
