Philip Rivers Facing A Strong Defense
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has been off to one of the best starts of his career, but he'll have his work cut out for him across the pond. In London this week, Rivers will have to square off against a Titans defense that is allowing the seventh fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Rivers comes armed to the teeth with weapons like Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler, and Keenan Allen, but Tennessee head coach Mike Vrabel already made a point to single out Gordon and Ekeler as key targets that the Titans will be working to contain. Rivers is still a lock for QB1 this week, but owners should be prepared for a closer battle than they've seen the last couple weeks.
