Pheonix Copley Posts Shutout Against Canadiens
1 year agoLos Angeles Kings goaltender Pheonix Copley recorded his first shutout of the season as he made 18 saves in Saturday's 4-0 victory against the Canadiens. The 31-year-old goaltender recorded his third career shutout, while the win extended the Kings' winning streak to five consecutive games. Copley has posted a record of 3-0-2 to go along with a 3.04 goals against average and .868 save percentage in a limited sample size of six appearances, while serving as the backup goaltender to early-season Vezina candidate Cam Talbot.
