Following a near-win at last week's Sentry Tournament of Champions, Patrick Reed seemed primed to make a run at the Sony Open this week. However, Reed was undone by a front-nine 40 during the second round that led to a score of 74. He finished at three-over par through 36 holes, two shots off the weekend cut line. The former Masters champion struggled badly on Waialae's greens, losing over two strokes putting in his two rounds of play. Masters champion Patrick Reed has been relatively quiet over the past two years since he entered the world of LIV Golf, but things could finally be trending positively for the 32-year-old. Reed made the cut in each of the first three majors of the year, including a T4 finish at the Masters and a T18 finish at the PGA Championship. At the London LIV event two weeks back, Reed capped off a great weekend with a seven-under Saturday round and a six-under Sunday round to capture second place. While the iron game comes and goes without warning, the putting seems to be more consistent when called upon this year. At $7,600, it's possible the DraftKings market has soured a bit too much on a hot putter who can strike a long iron or wood as well as anyone when he's on track.--Tommy Bell

Patrick Reed is a nice longshot play this week at the US Open. Reed finished T18 at last month's PGA Championship and T4 at the Masters in April. Members of Team Reed have stated that this course looks perfect for Patrick's game. With difficult greens to hold and around the green game being crucial this week, Reed's short game should excel and give him a strong chance over the weekend. Look for Reed to contend at yet another major this week. --Matt Miller - RotoBaller

Patrick Reed is a player to keep an eye on at this week's PGA Championship. Reed finished inside the top five at the Masters in April and has been playing some good golf in the LIV Golf League. The former Masters Champion always seems to play his best golf when conditions are the toughest and this week will certainly be a challenging test for the players. In addition, around the green game and scrambling will be crucial for success this week and few players in the world have a better short game than Patrick Reed. --Matt Miller - RotoBaller

Patrick Reed has been playing some good golf lately, making the cut in his last three events. The course sets up well for Reed, who has historically been one of the best short-game players in golf. The Country Club has some of the smallest greens on tour, so getting up and down will be key this week, which plays to Reed's strengths. Reed will need to be good off the tee, an area of his game that was causing him issues earlier in the year, but he has seemed to figure it out lately. He has gained strokes off the tee in three of his last five events and looks much more comfortable with the driver. Reed is fairly priced in DFS and will not attract much ownership. Reed is a solid DFS option and could be a sleeper pick at a course that suits his game.--Dalton Finkbeiner - RotoBaller
