San Jose Sharks forward Patrick Marleau scored the game-winning goal Saturday night as the Sharks beat the Stars 2-1. Marleau's eighth goal of the season came during the 1700th regular-season game of his career, a fitting way to cap off the night for the league's leader in career games played among active players. Marleau has been declining in recent years, and the move back to San Jose has done little to slow it. Now on a 30-point pace, scoring 16 points in 43 games this season, Marleau is potentially staring down the lowest point total of his career. With only a single power-play point this season as well, Marleau has very little to hang his hat on in terms of fantasy value. Even if the Sharks manage to turn their season around, it is unlikely Marleau's value sees much of a boost.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
