Chicago Blackhawks right wing Patrick Kane is not thinking about leaving the team. The former powerhouse of the Western Conference has struggled over the past few seasons and Kane is entering the final year of his contract, but according to him, he's not thinking about skipping town. "To be honest, there hasn't been much discussion about anything, even with my agent or my parents or my family," said Kane on Thursday. "I mean, I think we all know the situation, what could potentially happen. It's not really anything I'm thinking about as of yet, so we'll see how it all plays out and hopefully, we can get off to a good start here and prove some people wrong." Chicago missed the playoffs for the fourth time in five seasons last year, but Kane was in hot form throughout the campaign, matching his career high with 66 assists and picking up 92 points in 78 appearances. Even at 33, the 2016 MVP is still among the best wingers in the league, and he'll score a bunch of points again in 2022-23, even if the Blackhawks end up having an even poorer season than last year.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
