Patrick Corbin Solid on Tuesday
Washington Nationals left-hander Patrick Corbin took a hard-luck loss on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles. Corbin pitched seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits to go along with nine strikeouts. The southpaw coughed up two runs in the first inning but settled down nicely after that. Unfortunately, the Nationals offense was shut out and Corbin dropped to 10-6 on the season with an impressive 3.15 ERA. He will pitch again on Monday against the New York Mets.
