Patric Hornqvist Calls It A Career
1 year agoSwedish winger Patric Hornqvist, who won two Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2016 and 2017, has decided to end his NHL career. He spent 15 seasons in the league, also suiting up for the Nashville Predators and Florida Panthers. The power forward last played in December before a concussion ended Hornqvist's 2022-23 campaign. Hornqvist, who was the final pick in the 2005 NHL Draft, hangs up his skates after playing in 901 regular-season games. He scored 264 goals and posted 543 points in the league.
