Pat Freiermuth Officially Ruled Out
1 year agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) was unable to practice all week and has officially been ruled out for the Week 5 contest versus the division-rival Baltimore Ravens. Freiermuth was doubtful to play this week after injuring his hamstring in the Week 4 loss to the Houston Texans. The good news for the 24-year-old is that with the team's bye coming in Week 6, he'll have a good chance to make his return in Week 7 on Oct. 22 against the Los Angeles Rams. With Freiermuth sitting out this weekend, rookie Darnell Washington will have an opportunity for a bigger role in the passing attack alongside Connor Heyward. Neither tight end is worth streaming consideration in Week 5.
