Pat Freiermuth Expected To Practice Wednesday
1 year agoPittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that tight end Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) is expected to practice on Wednesday. Freiermuth didn't play in the Week 5 win over the Baltimore Ravens and had last week's bye to heal up. The 24-year-old will most likely be limited on Wednesday, but he said on Monday that he fully expects to play in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Freiermuth has already matched last year's total with two touchdowns through four games, but he's averaging a weak 5.3 fantasy points per game in half-PPR scoring with eight receptions for 53 yards on his 13 targets. If he returns in Week 7, he'll be a touchdown-dependent streaming option at the position in fantasy lineups.
