2 days agoLos Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac has not traditionally seen a ton of time on the floor on a nightly basis in 2019-20, but during Friday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, he needed just half the game to log 14 points and 12 rebounds, good for his fourth double-double of the year. After seeing just nine minutes of action the first time that the two teams met in November, Zubac led his squad in rebounds and set a new season high in minutes played. Should that trend continue, he is likely in prime position for DFS consideration Sunday when he faces a Wizards defense that is not only yielding the second-most points per game to opposing centers this season, but also desperately thin at the center spot.--Jesse Borek - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoMilwaukee Bucks shooting guard/small forward Khris Middleton finished 7-for-9 from the floor overall in Friday’s convincing win over the Los Angeles Clippers. In just his third game back among the starting five, Milwaukee needed only 25 minutes from Middleton, who notched 17 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists. He knocked down all three triples that he attempted, giving him three consecutive strong performances, even as his minutes remain heavily capped as the team reestablishes him back in the mix. Next up is a showdown with Orlando on Monday, whom he has averaged 18 points per game against during his career, his third most versus any opponent.--Jesse Borek - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoMilwaukee Bucks small/power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo needed just 26 minutes during his 25th birthday Friday to collect a double-double in a victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. Even with the Clippers boasting two premier defenders, Antetokounmpo was able to finish 11-for-20 from the field en route to a 27-point showing, which was coupled with 11 rebounds and four assists. The reigning MVP has been so dominant to begin 2019-20 that all of those numbers fall below his season averages, meaning that he’ll actually be looking to bounce back to his elite level Monday when he takes on Orlando, whom he dominated for a 29-14-6 line on Nov. 1.--Jesse Borek - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 days agoSacramento Kings guard/forward Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. Bogdanovic has already missed one game because of his knee issue. Trevor Ariza could be looking at a bigger role if Bogdanovic is unable to play. Yogi Ferrell might play more off the bench as well, so fantasy owners should check back closer to tip-off.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

2 days agoSacramento Kings guard Cory Joseph (back) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. He's been dealing with lower back soreness, so the team might give him the night off to rest. Yogi Ferrell would be asked to play heavy minutes without Joseph on the court. Ferrell would make an interesting DFS option if he's given heavy minutes.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

2 days agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard Josh Richardson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Richardson is going to miss his fifth straight game due to a right hamstring issue. It's unclear when he's going to be able to suit up again. Furkan Korkmaz, James Ennis and Matisse Thybulle will continue to see increased playing time without Richardson. None of them are great fantasy options, but they could have some deep league value.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Derek Bodner

2 days agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Derrick Favors (personal) is listed as out for Saturday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Favors has been away from the team following the death of his mother. The Pelicans are going to give Favors as much time as he needs. Jaxson Hayes will continue to see extra playing time until Favors returns. Hayes is a reliable fantasy option in most formats right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

2 days agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (hip) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He's dealing with a left hip contusion following Thursday's loss to the Wizards. Al Horford will likely be asked to play more center with Embiid sitting out. Kyle O'Quinn and Mike Scott will get extra playing time, but won't be great fantasy options.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Derek Bodner

2 days agoCleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (illness) was unable to attend shootaround on Friday. It appears Love is questionable for Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was in danger of missing Wednesday's game, but ended up playing in that one. Larry Nance Jr. would be asked to step up if Love is unable to play. He'd be worth a look as a DFS option without Love on the floor.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Chris Fedor

2 days agoChicago Bulls forward Thaddeus Young (personal) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Golden State Warriors. He won't suit up for this one because of personal reasons, but should be back with the team for Saturday's game. Lauri Markkanen could be asked to eat up some extra minutes in the starting five. Denzel Valentine and Daniel Gafford might play increased minutes off the bench, but neither player is a reliable streaming option.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: K.C. Johnson

2 days agoPhoenix Suns center Aron Baynes (calf) is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets. It appears he's going to miss his fourth game in a row due to a calf issue. Baynes was playing well before the injuries started to pile up. He's beginning to look like a cut candidate with Deandre Ayton (suspension) looming. Frank Kaminsky will continue to start until Baynes is back in action. Kaminsky is worth grabbing in standard leagues and is a possible streaming option for Saturday.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Gina Mizell

2 days agoDetroit Pistons forward Markieff Morris (neck) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers. He suffered a neck injury on Tuesday, but was able to play on Wednesday. However, he didn't play well in that contest and has been downgraded here. Christian Wood would be asked to step up if Morris is unable to play against the Pacers.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

2 days agoSan Antonio Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge (thigh) will be available for Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings. He's missed the last two games due to left thigh soreness, but will suit up here. Jakob Poeltl and Lonnie Walker IV played very well in Tuesday's contest, but they will see their minutes reduced with Aldridge back on Friday. Fantasy owners should feel safe about plugging Aldridge back into their lineups.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Paul Garcia

2 days agoWashington Wizards guard Isaiah Thomas (calf) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Miami Heat. He missed Thursday's game against the 76ers due to a calf issue. Ish Smith started in his place and dropped 19 points with eight assists while playing 34 minutes. He'll be a popular DFS option once again on Friday.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

2 days agoDallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell (arm) was wearing a sleeve on his left arm during practice on Friday. Powell bruised his left arm during Wednesday's game, but the X-rays came back negative. He was playing fantastic during that game, so fantasy owners should take notice. It sounds like Powell will be fine for Sunday's game against the Sacramento Kings.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Eddie Sefko
