Packers, Jets Haven't Agreed To Aaron Rodgers Trade

Contrary to a previous report, the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets haven't agreed to the framework of an Aaron Rodgers trade, according to sources. Both teams continue to await word from Rodgers on whether he intends to play in 2023. If he wants to continue playing and for the Jets, then the two sides will work to make a deal happen. The Packers have been giving hints that they'd rather move on with QB Jordan Love under center, but it remains to be seen if Rodgers even wants to continue his playing career. If the future Hall of Famer is traded to the Jets, he will need to restructure his contract, while the Jets will be giving up some draft-compensation as well. A move to New York with all their talented weapons on offense could help the 39-year-old QB bounce back in fantasy.
