Edmonton Oilers defenseman Oscar Klefbom is unlikely to be able to suit up during the 2021-2022 season. According to Oilers' general manager Ken Holland, the 27-year-old has a "very slim" chance of playing next season as he's still recovering from shoulder surgery in March. Klefbom missed the final quarter of the 2019-2020 season and all of his team's playoff games in the bubble in the previous season as well. The 27-year-old posted 34 points (five goals, 29 assists), a minus-17 rating, 18 power-play points and 159 shots in 62 games in 2019-2020. Expect the Oilers' new acquisition Duncan Keith to jump right into the team's top-four defenseman group with Klefbom likely out next season.--Chase Davis - RotoBallerRead More News
