Forward Ondrej Kase was traded to the Boston Bruins by the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for forward David Backes, defenseman Axel Andersson and a 2020 first-round draft pick on Friday. Kase, who is currently out due to illness, has posted 23 points (seven goals, 16 assists) and 135 shots in 49 games with the Ducks this season. Revered for his ability to score goals, the 24-year-old is expected to jump onto the Bruins' second line in order to boost secondary scoring. While Kase is not expected to suit up for the Bruins this weekend, he could very well make his debut in Boston versus the Calgary Flames on Tuesday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
