Nolan Arenado Handily Wins All-Star Vote
5 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado won the vote to be the starting third baseman for the National League All-Star team by a wide margin on Sunday. Arenado got more than double the number of votes given to his closest competition, and he will now start in his fifth-straight All-Star game. Arenado is having another stellar season, hitting .320 with 20 home runs, 20 doubles, 65 RBI, 60 runs scored, and two stolen bases. He's also widely considered the best defensive third baseman in the NL by a large margin and is regularly in the conversation as the best defensive player in general.
