Noelvi Marte 2026 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: 20/20 Upside with Dual Eligibility if he Can Stay on the Field
Cincinnati Reds third baseman/outfielder Noelvi Marte slashed .263/.300/.448 with 14 home runs, 51 RBI, 45 runs, 10 stolen bases, and a .326 wOBA over 90 games in 2025. Marte started the season in Triple-A and was called up to the big leagues in mid-April. He suffered a Grade 2 oblique injury in May and did not return from the injured list until July 4. Before landing on the IL in May, Marte was playing well, slashing .290/.338/.507 with three home runs, 17 RBI, and four stolen bases through 20 games. In his return from the injured list, Marte slashed .255/.289/.432 with 11 home runs and six steals. He also increased his BB% from 3.7% in 2024 to 4.4% in 2025 while decreasing his K% 31.0% to 23.6%. The main issue with Marte is that he has missed time due to suspensions and injuries. He was suspended for 80 games in 2024 for PEDs and was limited to 90 games last season due to an oblique injury. The former top prospect has 20/20 upside if he can stay on the field and has dual eligibility at third base and outfield. Marte is projected to hit second in the Reds lineup that includes Elly De La Cruz, TJ Friedl, and Spencer Steer, while playing half of his games in hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park. He's an intriguing pick in the middle rounds as ATC projects Marte with a .250/.300/.409 slash line with 17 home runs, 15 steals, and a .307wOBA across 537 plate appearances. Marte currently has an NFBC ADP of 133, which aligns with his RotoBaller ranking of 130. If Marte can stay healthy, he could easily hit 20-plus homers and swipe close to 20 bags in 2026, making him a solid pick at his current ADP.
