Noel Cuevas Loves Saturday In Seattle
6 years agoTasked with carrying the team after the top end of the order was terrible on Saturday, Colorado Rockies rookie outfielder Noel Cuevas came through in a huge way. Cuevas went 3-for-4 on the day and put the game away with him 3-run blast off James Paxton in the seventh inning. It was Cuevas' first home run in nearly two months, and it would prove to be the game-winner. Cuevas has proven he can hit at the major league level, but his scattered playing time has held him back from truly being a breakout player. Hitting .267 so far, Cuevas will likely be in the mix for regular playing time next year, but he's probbly more valuable as a real-life asset than a fantasy one.
