No Rhys Hoskins On Tuesday
7 months agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Rhys Hoskins (hamstring) is not in the team's starting lineup on Tuesday against the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates. It shouldn't come as a big surprise after Hoskins was forced out of Monday's contest early due to a right-hamstring injury. The 31-year-old right-handed slugger was expected to undergo an MRI exam on Tuesday to determine how serious his hamstring issue is. Hoskins is going to have a second opinion as well, so fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if an injured list stint looms. With Hoskins out on Tuesday, Jake Bauers is at first base and is batting fifth against Pirates right-hander Quinn Priester. Bauers is currently hitting .244/.326/.476 with an .802 OPS, four home runs, 21 RBI, four steals and 12 runs scored this year and could become more popular in fantasy leagues if Hoskins is forced to the IL.
