Chicago Cubs second baseman Nico Hoerner (triceps) has been diagnosed with a "mild/moderate" right triceps strain. He is currently receiving treatment for the injury that's kept him out of the lineup for the last five games. He sustained the injury last weekend and hasn't appeared in a contest since September 11. While he hasn't been placed on the injured list yet, there is still no timetable for his return. He should be considered day-to-day until further notice.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
