Washington Capitals forwards Nicklas Backstrom (hip) and Tom Wilson (knee) remain unavailable for Thursday's meeting with Columbus, but both players are very close to making their season debuts. Backstrom had resurfacing surgery on his left hip in June and Wilson is recovering from a torn ACL suffered back in May. Washington will be very happy to have them back in the lineup, although the duo's return is set to spell bad news for some players. Sonny Milano and Conor Sheary have been top-six regulars, but will likely have to settle for lesser roles when Backstrom and Wilson are back in the mix.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
