Nick Bosa 2022 NFL Player Outlook: Ready to Make Another Leap
2 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers' defense is built around defensive lineman Nick Bosa, and it's clear why. The younger Bosa brother is arguably the most well-rounded defensive lineman in the NFL, with the power and precision to contribute against the run while dominating the pass. Although some of us worried he could get off to a slow start after his ACL tear in 2020, Bosa started on a tear, collecting five sacks in his first five games. The former Buckeye kept the production going all season long, ending the year with an incredible 75 quarterback pressures, 15 sacks, and finishing third in the league in tackles for a loss. Despite the incredible production that Bosa has had in his career so far, the best may be yet to come from a young player with just 35 NFL games under his belt. With a healthy Javon Kinlaw and talented rookie Drake Jackson joining the Ohio State on a deep defensive line, Bosa should be considered a legitimate Defensive Player of the Year candidate and the second DL off most fantasy boards.
