Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon tallied three points during their 5-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday evening. MacKinnon tallied the secondary assist on Artturi Lehkonen's opening game in the first period. Then, in the third, MacKinnon would find the back of the net twice, both times on the power-play. He also tallied six shots on goal in this game and held a +1 rating. This outing snapped a two-game scores skid for the 29-year-old. However, prior to this minor slump, MacKinnon tallied 19 points (six goals, 13 helpers) over his last 13 games. During this stretch, he was only held off the scoresheet in two games. Fantasy managers should continue to view MacKinnon as a top pick in all DFS competitions and a must-start option in all leagues. He will look to start a new point streak against the Wild on Friday evening.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
