Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon (upper body) will miss approximately four weeks of action, the team announced on Tuesday. He was injured in Monday's 5-3 loss to Philadelphia, and it looks like we won't be seeing MacKinnon again before January. The 27-year-old star has to pause a superb campaign, with MacKinnon having notched 34 points in 23 games. It's another bad hit to the team's frontline, with Colorado having already used 22 different forwards this season. Alex Newhook has moved up in the lineup and enjoyed a productive outing against the Flyers, while Andrew Cogliano, Logan O'Connor and Charles Hudon were also part of the top six Monday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
