The Baltimore Ravens are confident that rookie first-round cornerback Nate Wiggins (shoulder) avoided a significant injury when he left the preseason opener on Friday against the Philadelphia Eagles with a shoulder injury. Wiggins could miss some practice time at training camp, but the Ravens are optimistic he'll be ready for the Week 1 season opener on Thursday Night Football against the defending Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs. The Clemson product looked really good in his NFL debut on Friday night against the Eagles and figures to be a big part of Baltimore's secondary in his first year if he can stay healthy.
