Myles Turner Sits Out Monday's Game
2 weeks agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner (ankle) will not play on Monday against the Utah Jazz. Indiana begins a back-to-back on Monday night, and Turner has been ruled out with a right peroneal strain after the team gave him a questionable tag on the injury report earlier in the day. Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle considers Turner day-to-day. Thomas Bryant is likely to make his second start as a Pacer. His debut in the role could not have gone much better, as the 27-year-old notched 22 points, eight rebounds, and a pair of steals in a 129-113 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Jan. 8. Obi Toppin's workload might also increase with Turner's absence.
