There remains optimism that there will be a Major League Baseball season played in 2020, and early July remains the target for the start of the season. However, health remains the overriding factor and the plans for a season depend on having ample and reliable testing for the coronavirus. Spring training would likely be around three weeks, plus an additional two weeks for any players who wish to arrive early. The minor league seasons are unlikely to be played this year, so MLB rosters are expected to be expanded and could even include a taxi squad. There are still a lot of variables at play for a season to take place, with one of the biggest being that MLB must first get approval from the Players Association.--Keith HernandezRead More News
