Major League Baseball owners are expected to propose a 2020 season lasting between 70 and 75 games to the players' union on Friday, sources told ESPN's Karl Ravech. The proposal would include a payment of somewhere between 80 percent and 85 percent of the players' prorated salary, which is a slight increase from their latest offer. It would also included expanded playoffs and a share of the playoff pool for the players. The players last offered an 89-game schedule that featured full prorated share of salary and expanded playoffs. If the sides can't agree to a deal, the league has the ability to implement a schedule of its desired length and have focused on a potential 48-game season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
