Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Mitchell Marner set a new franchise record with a 19-game point streak on Saturday. The historic moment came against Tampa Bay 5:18 into the second period when Marner opened the scoring with a short-handed goal. He also scored a power-play goal in the third, pushing the game into overtime, where the Maple Leafs has to settle for a 4-3 loss. Marner's sensational run includes a five-game goal streak. He has tallied a total of 26 points during his streak, moving to 10 goals and 21 assists for the season.
